Laos is provided to churches and their members for church life: directory, ministries, prayer, teaching, events and reading. By using it you agree to these plain terms.
Your church’s rules
Access to a church’s instance is granted and withdrawn by that church. Use the directory for church purposes only: not for marketing, fundraising outside the church, or any use the church has not sanctioned, and do not export or share other members’ information outside the congregation.
Content
What you post (prayer requests, messages, photos) is yours; you give the church permission to show it to its members and to remove it. Post nothing unlawful, hateful or that you do not have the right to share. Church administrators may remove content and members.
Bible text you import
The King James Version is included and is in the public domain. Any other translation you import must be one you are licensed to use; it stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Service
Laos Cloud is provided as-is; we work to keep it available and to protect the data it holds, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Self-hosted churches are responsible for their own servers and backups. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees the church has paid for the service.
